DESCRIPTION:Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals – This half-day comprehensive course is for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. It’s also a fantastic refresher for those who haven’t visited these topics in a while. \nIn this half-day class students will be guided to understand conflict avoidance and situational awareness\, develop a home security and home defense mindset and plan\, handgun\, shooting fundamentals\, the physiology of violent encounters and most importantly\, the legal aspects of using deadly force\, including what to do in the aftermath. It includes a brief overview of gear\, gadgets as well as ongoing training and optional 1-hour shooting portion at the end (extra $45 charge payable in class).

DESCRIPTION:Introduction to the AR-15 platform. There is a class presentation and familiarization with an AR-15 rifle. This 2-hour class is not live fire. You will learn about the parts\, disassemble and reassemble an AR-15. Other topics include the operating system\, ammunition\, loading/unloading/clearing\, advantages and disadvantages for home defense\, accessories\, optics and more.
