This comprehensive class will teach students will learn how to properly assess a patient in an emergency.  You will learn how to apply a tourniquet\, an Israeli bandage and do chest compressions.  Other topics include venous and arterial bleeding; compromised airway; head\, chest and spinal injuries; broken bones; burns; heart attacks; seizures; strokes; instruction on how to build custom first-aid and trauma kits and more.

There will also be a discussion on gear and gadgets. The goal of this class is to de-mystify what can sometimes feel like a topic reserved for experts. \nYou will leave with a basic plan in place and understand your next steps to think about for your home defense strategy. Some of the topics covered: Developing a Home and Personal Protection Plan\, Self-Defense Firearm Basics\, Shooting Fundamentals\, The Legal Use of Force\, Encounters and the Aftermath and a discussion on Gear & Gadgets. Examples of ways to make your home more secure will also be shown and talked about. \nThis class is appropriate for Parents\, Teachers\, Concerned Citizens\, Business Professionals\, Churchgoers\, and anyone who wants to keep themselves and others safe. Having a plan is the first step. To help formulate your plan we will discuss and you will receive 5 different checklists: Windows\, Doors\, Exterior\, Home-Defense Plan and Mental Exercises checklists.
