This course has become the gold standard across the United States for law abiding Americans seeking to obtain their concealed carry permit. \nAs a USCCA certified instructor\, you will be trained and equipped to provide world-class instruction to students. You will have access to our world class classroom materials (including a full set of PowerPoint presentations and classroom videos). \nDuring this two-day training course\, you’ll be taught by a USCCA Training Counselor on a number of valuable topics\, including: The top ten instructor mistakes\, and how to avoid them; teaching best practices; and running a safe live fire range. You’ll also have a chance to demonstrate your knowledge of the USCCA training material through seven short presentations to a group of your peers\, as well as running a live fire range\, guiding your peers through the safe completion of the USCCA course of fire. \nAfter completion of this course\, you’ll not only be intimately familiar with the USCCA training methodology and materials\, you’ll be a far better instructor and presenter\, regardless of the topic of choice. Prior to the class\, you must complete the corresponding eLearning. After passing the class\, you will be sent an instructor shirt and toolkit valued at $450. \nPlease note that there is an e-learning component to this class that must be competed 48 hours BEFORE the first day of class.  Upon registration a detailed email will be sent to each Instructor Candidate.  Each Instructor Candidate must pass a shooting qualification and safe gun handling standards. \nThis class takes place at a private shooting club. A range fee of $30/day applies to all non-members of Renaissance Shooting Club.

DESCRIPTION:This 2-day NRA Certified Shotgun Instructor Course includes BIT (Basic Instructor Training) the lesson plans\, practical exercises and exam to become a certified shotgun instructor using the NRA curriculum. All course materials are provided. There is a prerequisite to this course of taking the student level Basics of Shotgun Shooting class. That class takes place the day immediately before this one starts. All ICs will be evaluated on their knowledge\, skills and attitude in every area. Taking this course will give you the opportunity to become a certified instructor. You will be receiving feedback from your peers as well as providing it. Please dress as you would to be on the shotgun range. \nIn order to be considered for instructor you will need to complete a pre-course questionnaire\, complete the Basic Shotgun student course\, complete the Shotgun pre-course qualification. \nThis class will be held at a private range facility. Address and payment information will be given after registering on the NRA portal from the link below. When shooting the qualification\, we may go to another private range with a trap field. If that is the case\, there will be an applicable $25 range fee plus clays cost. \nYou will need your shotgun\, 100 rounds of ammunition (shot size 7.5 or 8)\, eye and hearing protection\, lunch and any snacks needed to get through each day. Water is provided. There is a fridge and microwave available.

SUMMARY:NRA Certified Basic Pistol Instructor Course
DESCRIPTION:NRA Certified Basic Pistol Instructor Course: this 2-day course includes BIT (Basic Instructor Training)\, lesson plans\, practical exercises\, written exam and shooting qualification to become a certified NRA Instructor. Attendance in this class is an opportunity\, not a foregone conclusion. You must possess the knowledge\, skills and attitude to pass and become certified. You will receive feedback from your class peers as well as give feedback. There is some documentation that needs to be filled out and sent in promptly after registration. This documentation is on the site where you register. Print it out\, fill it out and email to the Training Counselor. This course takes place at a private range facility. Payment info and address will be given in an email following registration here. All training materials are provided. Please bring your student Pistol Handbook to class as we will be using it. Please dress in range attire. \nThere is a prerequisite to this course of taking the student level Basic Pistol class. We have listed it just prior to this one as a convenience. If you’ve already taken this class\, you must provide proof in the form of a signed completion certificate from an NRA Instructor. You will need your firearm in 9mm-.45acp\, 100 rounds of ammunition\, eye and hearing protection and any food and snacks you need to get through the day. There is a fridge and microwave and water is provided.

That class takes place the day immediately before this one starts. All ICs will be evaluated on their knowledge\, skills and attitude in every area. Taking this course will give you the opportunity to become a certified instructor. You will be receiving feedback from your peers as well as providing it. Please dress as you would to be on the shotgun range. \nIn order to be considered for instructor you will need to complete a pre-course questionnaire\, complete the Basic Shotgun student course\, complete the Shotgun pre-course qualification. \nThis class will be held at a private range facility. Address and payment information will be given after registering on the NRA portal from the link below. When shooting the qualification\, we may go to another private range with a trap field. If that is the case\, there will be an applicable $25 range fee plus clays cost. \nYou will need your shotgun\, 100 rounds of ammunition (shot size 7.5 or 8)\, eye and hearing protection\, lunch and any snacks needed to get through each day. Water is provided. There is a fridge and microwave available.
