DESCRIPTION:Women’s Handgun & Self-Defense Fundamentals\nCome get your pistol de-coded in this basic first steps class covering all the fundamentals. You will learn the safety rules\, how your firearm operates\, ammunition basics\, grip\, stance\, sight alignment\, trigger control\, getting in those first shots and much more! This is a women’s only class taught by a woman instructor. \nCome learn all the basics you need to shoot safely\, understand your pistol\, learn the fundamentals and train on the range. Rental pistols available. \nThis 3-hour class will cover the following: proper firearms safety\, learning pistol parts\, ammunition basics\, mindset\, shooting fundamentals including grip\, stance\, sight picture\, trigger press and more! Range portion to follow classroom segment. This course is designed for those who are brand new to firearms and those who are ready to learn more about defensive shooting. \nBasics and fundamentals will be introduced\, reviewed\, and then built upon\, while also exploring: \n\nSituational awareness\nCommon types of handguns\nAmmunition types\, malfunctions\nFirearms handling skills\nDefensive pistol fundamentals\nThe use of deadly force\n\nWhether you’ve never touched a firearm\, you’re looking for the next steps in your training\, or you’ve chosen to learn about the skills\, tools\, and mindset needed to use firearms for self-defense\, you can be prepared to carry confidently every day with tips and techniques from experienced women in the world of firearms.
