DESCRIPTION:Pepper Spray Complete\nThis is the class if you want to know everything about non-lethal pepper sprays and gels! First we will learn all about the products in class as well as legal considerations\, appropriate responses\, awareness mindset and more. Then we set the room up for the deployment portion of the class. No one will be pepper sprayed in this class! We will be using inert training canisters only. Training canisters and face shields are provided. \n\nPlease note this class is NOT free but is listed in conjunction with the class at Crosshairs Texas. You will be contacted by the instructor to complete your registration on the Crosshairs website. Cost on that site is $160 \n\n\nWhat We’ll Teach – SABRE Sprays & Gels\n\n\n\n\nThis class will introduce you to the pepper sprays and gels offered by SABRE. You will learn what makes these devices so effective\, as well as what you need to consider when carrying them. But\, there are still legal considerations surrounding any use of force.

This 2-hour class has a lot of practical hands-on exercises. Learn the correct way to do chest compressions and much more! This class can help you save the life of someone you know.

Some of the topics covered: Developing a Home and Personal Protection Plan\, Self-Defense Firearm Basics\, Shooting Fundamentals\, The Legal Use of Force\, Encounters and the Aftermath and a discussion on Gear & Gadgets. Examples of ways to make your home more secure will also be shown and talked about. \nThis class is appropriate for Parents\, Teachers\, Concerned Citizens\, Business Professionals\, Churchgoers\, and anyone who wants to keep themselves and others safe. DESCRIPTION:USCCA Conceal Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals Instructor Course – upon successfully completing this 2-day course\, you will become USCCA Certified Instructor\, uniquely authorized to teach the USCCA course\, Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals. This course has become the gold standard across the United States for law abiding Americans seeking to obtain their concealed carry permit. As a CCHDF Instructor you will have a comprehensive and flexible way to teach your future students. There are full-day classes\, half-day\, and one-hour mini-classes you will be able to teach\, reaching busy people with more flexible options to continue their firearms education. \nAs a USCCA certified instructor\, you will be trained and equipped to provide world-class instruction to students. You will have access to our world class classroom materials (including a full set of PowerPoint presentations and classroom videos). There are also lots of extra training presentations available such as the Real Estate Agent Safety video\, and more! \nDuring this two-day training course\, you’ll be taught by a USCCA Training Counselor on a number of valuable topics\, including: The top ten instructor mistakes\, and how to avoid them; teaching best practices; and running a safe live fire range. You’ll also have a chance to demonstrate your knowledge of the USCCA training material through seven short presentations to a group of your peers\, as well as running a live fire range\, guiding your peers through the safe completion of the USCCA course of fire. After completion of this course\, you’ll not only be intimately familiar with the USCCA training methodology and materials\, you’ll be a far better instructor and presenter\, regardless of the topic of choice. Prior to the class\, you must complete the corresponding eLearning. The e-learning component takes about 8 hours but is flexible so you can complete a session and walk away if needed and then log back in to move forward. After successfully passing the class\, you will be sent an instructor shirt and toolkit with 10 textbooks\, 10 copies of USCCA Conceal Carry magazine\, room posters\, a cap and instructor polo plus valued at $450. \nPlease note that there is an e-learning component to this class that must be competed 48 hours BEFORE the first day of class.  Upon registration a detailed email will be sent to each Instructor Candidate.  Each Instructor Candidate must pass a shooting qualification and safe gun handling standards. The qualification is un-timed and you may use a pistol mounted optic.

It’s also a fantastic refresher for those who haven’t visited these topics in a while. When was the last time you took a classroom session regarding issues surrounding defensive gun use? A while ago? Never? Your LTC class years ago? You need to refresh on these issues as laws change regularly. \nIn this half-day class students will be guided to understand conflict avoidance and situational awareness\, develop a home security and home defense mindset and plan\, handgun\, shooting fundamentals\, the physiology of violent encounters and most importantly\, the legal aspects of using deadly force\, including what to do in the aftermath. It includes a brief overview of gear\, gadgets as well as ongoing training options. Come learn how the law might interpret your actions. \nThis class is a MUST HAVE if you carry a gun in public or intend to. The mindset must be correct in order to make the best decisions. This documentation is on the site where you register. Print it out\, fill it out and email to the Training Counselor. This course takes place at a private range facility.
