DESCRIPTION:USCCA Conceal Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals Instructor Course – upon successfully completing this 2-day course\, you will become USCCA Certified Instructor\, uniquely authorized to teach the USCCA course\, Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals. This course has become the gold standard across the United States for law abiding Americans seeking to obtain their concealed carry permit. \nAs a USCCA certified instructor\, you will be trained and equipped to provide world-class instruction to students. You will have access to our world class classroom materials (including a full set of PowerPoint presentations and classroom videos). \nDuring this two-day training course\, you’ll be taught by a USCCA Training Counselor on a number of valuable topics\, including: The top ten instructor mistakes\, and how to avoid them; teaching best practices; and running a safe live fire range. You’ll also have a chance to demonstrate your knowledge of the USCCA training material through seven short presentations to a group of your peers\, as well as running a live fire range\, guiding your peers through the safe completion of the USCCA course of fire. \nAfter completion of this course\, you’ll not only be intimately familiar with the USCCA training methodology and materials\, you’ll be a far better instructor and presenter\, regardless of the topic of choice. Prior to the class\, you must complete the corresponding eLearning. DESCRIPTION:Red Dot Intermediate: This class is to take your red or green dot skills to the next level and is all range time. A pistol mounted optic system allows for much quicker aiming and shooting if you know how to use it to maximum advantage. Course objective: to build more resilient skills using the dot to get more accurate shots on target sooner. Some of the topics are target transitions\, drawing from the holster to find the dot\, precise shot placement into 1″ and 2″ squares from various distances\, seeing the dot sooner for follow up shots and more! Course pre-requisite: Red Dot basic course from me or someone else as this class builds on what is learned in our Red Dot Fundamentals course.

DESCRIPTION:Get The Lead Out is the class you can’t find anywhere else! Have you ever considered that you could be knocked to the ground in the fight of your life? Have you ever fired from ground positions and experienced the difference in sight picture and recoil management? There are important considerations to do this safely.  This class will introduce the following ground positions and considerations for each: kneeling\, prone\, sideways\, and supine. You will learn about sight picture and recoil from all of these positions. You will be on the ground and get dirty in this class!!! Bring a shooting mat if you have one. Knee and elbow pads are strongly suggested. If you don’t have these items\, please contact instructor to reserve one. \nYou will also work on several other skills in this class.  Magazine changes under duress\, engaging multiple targets\, being aware of other people around you\, working through or around body issues or injuries\, using cover\, considerations while seated\, and for when out and about on regular errands\, plus some longer range pistol shooting.  Bring the following: your conceal carry pistol and holster\, at least 3 magazines\, 300 rounds of ammunition\, shooting mat if you have one\, eye and ear protection\, knee and elbow pads\, any snacks and beverages you need. SUMMARY:NRA Certified Shotgun Instructor Course
DESCRIPTION:This 2-day NRA Certified Shotgun Instructor Course includes BIT (Basic Instructor Training) the lesson plans\, practical exercises and exam to become a certified shotgun instructor using the NRA curriculum. All course materials are provided. There is a prerequisite to this course of taking the student level Basics of Shotgun Shooting class. That class takes place the day immediately before this one starts. All ICs will be evaluated on their knowledge\, skills and attitude in every area. Taking this course will give you the opportunity to become a certified instructor. You will be receiving feedback from your peers as well as providing it. Please dress as you would to be on the shotgun range. \nIn order to be considered for instructor you will need to complete a pre-course questionnaire\, complete the Basic Shotgun student course\, complete the Shotgun pre-course qualification. \nThis class will be held at a private range facility. Address and payment information will be given after registering on the NRA portal from the link below. When shooting the qualification\, we may go to another private range with a trap field. If that is the case\, there will be an applicable $25 range fee plus clays cost. \nYou will need your shotgun\, 100 rounds of ammunition (shot size 7.5 or 8)\, eye and hearing protection\, lunch and any snacks needed to get through each day.
