DESCRIPTION:USCCA Conceal Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals Instructor Course – upon successfully completing this 2-day course\, you will become USCCA Certified Instructor\, uniquely authorized to teach the USCCA course\, Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals. This course has become the gold standard across the United States for law abiding Americans seeking to obtain their concealed carry permit. \nAs a USCCA certified instructor\, you will be trained and equipped to provide world-class instruction to students. You will have access to our world class classroom materials (including a full set of PowerPoint presentations and classroom videos). \nDuring this two-day training course\, you’ll be taught by a USCCA Training Counselor on a number of valuable topics\, including: The top ten instructor mistakes\, and how to avoid them; teaching best practices; and running a safe live fire range. You’ll also have a chance to demonstrate your knowledge of the USCCA training material through seven short presentations to a group of your peers\, as well as running a live fire range\, guiding your peers through the safe completion of the USCCA course of fire. A \nfter completion of this course\, you’ll not only be intimately familiar with the USCCA training methodology and materials\, you’ll be a far better instructor and presenter\, regardless of the topic of choice. Prior to the class\, you must complete the corresponding eLearning. SUMMARY:NRA Certified Rifle Instructor Course
DESCRIPTION:NRA Certified Rifle Instructor Course: This 2-day class includes NRA Basic Instructor Training (BIT) and the Instructor portion to have the opportunity to become a certified rifle instructor with the NRA. The prerequisite to take this instructor class is the Basics of Rifle Shooting student level class (just prior to this class). Proof of having taken this class is a certificate of completion from any certified NRA instructor. Please bring your student manual from this class as we will be using it. All instructor candidates must fill out a pre-course qualification/questionnaire and email it promptly back to the Training Counselor. All Instructor level materials will be provided. \nThere is a written test and a shooting qualification which must be passed at a 90% or greater to obtain certification. In addition\, you will be receiving and giving feedback to your class peers. Please come dressed as you would to go to the range. You will need to bring: your rifle in any caliber as you will be shooting as a “student” as well as shooting the instructor rifle qualification\, 150 rounds of ammunition\, a shooting mat\, eye and hearing protection\, closed toed shoes and long pants. You will be shooting from the bench\, prone and standing. Safe gun handling\, loading and unloading of each action type must also be demonstrated to pass this course. \nPlease bring a lunch both days as there aren’t any close by eateries. There is a fridge and a microwave. Water is provided.

DESCRIPTION:Over 1 million students have taken the U.S. Concealed Carry Association’s course offerings across the nation. The Defensive Shooting Fundamentals class can be taken by anyone of any skill level. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced shooter\, you will walk away from this course a better protector of yourself and your loved ones. You will learn the concept of balancing speed and precision to begin the course\, understanding your individual limits\, the importance of accurate hits to target\, and ability to quickly engage with a target. Other drills may include: – How to present from the holster – How to perform an emergency reload – Lateral movement – And more Purchasing a gun is part of the self-defense journey\, but knowing how to safely and effectively use it is even more important. Education and training are critical methods to ensure students will be ready if they’re forced to use their firearms to defend themselves and their loved ones. \nPre-requisite: Intro to Defensive Shooting or the equivalent \nCome build on the skills and concepts learned in the Intro to Defensive Shooting mini-class. This class will cover extra drills and topics pertaining to home defense. You will be presented with 2 scenarios and have to make decisions in the heat of the moment. Don’t leave your defensive mindset training to the actual moment you need it!

DESCRIPTION:Get The Lead Out is the class you can’t find anywhere else! Have you ever considered that you could be knocked to the ground in the fight of your life? Have you ever fired from ground positions and experienced the difference in sight picture and recoil management? There are important considerations to do this safely.  This class will introduce the following ground positions and considerations for each: kneeling\, prone\, sideways\, and supine. You will learn about sight picture and recoil from all of these positions. You will be on the ground and get dirty in this class!!! Bring a shooting mat if you have one. Knee and elbow pads are strongly suggested. If you don’t have these items\, please contact instructor to reserve one. \nYou will also work on several other skills in this class.  Magazine changes under duress\, engaging multiple targets\, being aware of other people around you\, working through or around body issues or injuries\, using cover\, considerations while seated\, and for when out and about on regular errands\, plus some longer range pistol shooting.  Bring the following: your conceal carry pistol and holster\, at least 3 magazines\, 300 rounds of ammunition\, shooting mat if you have one\, eye and ear protection\, knee and elbow pads\, any snacks and beverages you need. This class is action packed\, non-stop from start to end. \nHere are the reviews on this class: \nCE-“This was a great class to learn what you are capable of and what your not. Don’t wait until something may happen in real life. Be prepared so you know what you can do. DESCRIPTION:USCCA Conceal Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals Instructor Course – upon successfully completing this 2-day course\, you will become USCCA Certified Instructor\, uniquely authorized to teach the USCCA course\, Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals. This course has become the gold standard across the United States for law abiding Americans seeking to obtain their concealed carry permit. As a CCHDF Instructor you will have a comprehensive and flexible way to teach your future students. There are full-day classes\, half-day\, and one-hour mini-classes you will be able to teach\, reaching busy people with more flexible options to continue their firearms education. \nAs a USCCA certified instructor\, you will be trained and equipped to provide world-class instruction to students. You will have access to our world class classroom materials (including a full set of PowerPoint presentations and classroom videos). There are also lots of extra training presentations available such as the Real Estate Agent Safety video\, and more! \nDuring this two-day training course\, you’ll be taught by a USCCA Training Counselor on a number of valuable topics\, including: The top ten instructor mistakes\, and how to avoid them; teaching best practices; and running a safe live fire range. You’ll also have a chance to demonstrate your knowledge of the USCCA training material through seven short presentations to a group of your peers\, as well as running a live fire range\, guiding your peers through the safe completion of the USCCA course of fire. After completion of this course\, you’ll not only be intimately familiar with the USCCA training methodology and materials\, you’ll be a far better instructor and presenter\, regardless of the topic of choice. Prior to the class\, you must complete the corresponding eLearning. The e-learning component takes about 8 hours but is flexible so you can complete a session and walk away if needed and then log back in to move forward. After successfully passing the class\, you will be sent an instructor shirt and toolkit with 10 textbooks\, 10 copies of USCCA Conceal Carry magazine\, room posters\, a cap and instructor polo plus valued at $450. \nPlease note that there is an e-learning component to this class that must be competed 48 hours BEFORE the first day of class.  Upon registration a detailed email will be sent to each Instructor Candidate.  Each Instructor Candidate must pass a shooting qualification and safe gun handling standards. The qualification is un-timed and you may use a pistol mounted optic.

Attendance in this class is an opportunity\, not a foregone conclusion. You must possess the knowledge\, skills and attitude to pass and become certified. You will receive feedback from your class peers as well as give feedback. There is some documentation that needs to be filled out and sent in promptly after registration. This documentation is on the site where you register. Print it out\, fill it out and email to the Training Counselor. This course takes place at a private range facility. Payment info and address will be given in an email following registration here. All training materials are provided. Please bring your student Pistol Handbook to class as we will be using it. Please dress in range attire. \nThere is a prerequisite to this course of taking the student level Basic Pistol class. We have listed it just prior to this one as a convenience. If you’ve already taken this class\, you must provide proof in the form of a signed completion certificate from an NRA Instructor. Please dress as you would to be on the shotgun range. \nIn order to be considered for instructor you will need to complete a pre-course questionnaire\, complete the Basic Shotgun student course\, complete the Shotgun pre-course qualification. \nThis class will be held at a private range facility. DESCRIPTION:Are you having a hard time seeing your iron sights? If so\, the red dot optic is a game changer for aging eyes and long-arm syndrome. Is your red or green dot a mystery? Come learn all about it and why its such a game changer. Are you struggling with finding the red dot consistently? If so\, your pistol presentation is incorrect. Are you thinking about getting a dot optic for your pistol? Come learn all about this fantastic technology and how to utilize it. People have remarked that using the dot is like cheating. \nWhen used correctly the red dot is an absolute game changer. If used incorrectly\, you are negating the advantage and might as well be using iron sights. We will start in the classroom and then go to the range to zero your optic at 10 yards and get lots of practice with the correct pistol presentation out to the target. \nCourse Objective: Develop the basic skills to zero your mounted optic\, and access and utilize the dot consistently. You will learn the way to present your pistol in order to see the dot every time. There is no pre-requisite for this class.
