Come learn all about it and why its such a game changer. Are you struggling with finding the red dot consistently? If so\, your pistol presentation is incorrect. Are you thinking about getting a dot optic for your pistol? Come learn all about this fantastic technology and how to utilize it. People have remarked that using the dot is like cheating. \nWhen used correctly the red dot is an absolute game changer. If used incorrectly\, you are negating the advantage and might as well be using iron sights. We will start in the classroom and then go to the range to zero your optic at 10 yards and get lots of practice with the correct pistol presentation out to the target. \nCourse Objective: Develop the basic skills to zero your mounted optic\, and access and utilize the dot consistently. You will learn the way to present your pistol in order to see the dot every time. There is no pre-requisite for this class.

Never? Your LTC class years ago? You need to refresh on these issues as laws change regularly. \nIn this half-day class students will be guided to understand conflict avoidance and situational awareness\, develop a home security and home defense mindset and plan\, handgun\, shooting fundamentals\, the physiology of violent encounters and most importantly\, the legal aspects of using deadly force\, including what to do in the aftermath. It includes a brief overview of gear\, gadgets as well as ongoing training options. Come learn how the law might interpret your actions. \nThis class is a MUST HAVE if you carry a gun in public or intend to. The mindset must be correct in order to make the best decisions. DESCRIPTION:USCCA Conceal Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals Instructor Course – upon successfully completing this 2-day course\, you will become USCCA Certified Instructor\, uniquely authorized to teach the USCCA course\, Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals. This course has become the gold standard across the United States for law abiding Americans seeking to obtain their concealed carry permit. As a CCHDF Instructor you will have a comprehensive and flexible way to teach your future students. There are full-day classes\, half-day\, and one-hour mini-classes you will be able to teach\, reaching busy people with more flexible options to continue their firearms education. \nAs a USCCA certified instructor\, you will be trained and equipped to provide world-class instruction to students. You will have access to our world class classroom materials (including a full set of PowerPoint presentations and classroom videos). There are also lots of extra training presentations available such as the Real Estate Agent Safety video\, and more! \nDuring this two-day training course\, you’ll be taught by a USCCA Training Counselor on a number of valuable topics\, including: The top ten instructor mistakes\, and how to avoid them; teaching best practices; and running a safe live fire range. You’ll also have a chance to demonstrate your knowledge of the USCCA training material through seven short presentations to a group of your peers\, as well as running a live fire range\, guiding your peers through the safe completion of the USCCA course of fire. After completion of this course\, you’ll not only be intimately familiar with the USCCA training methodology and materials\, you’ll be a far better instructor and presenter\, regardless of the topic of choice. Prior to the class\, you must complete the corresponding eLearning. The e-learning component takes about 8 hours but is flexible so you can complete a session and walk away if needed and then log back in to move forward. After successfully passing the class\, you will be sent an instructor shirt and toolkit with 10 textbooks\, 10 copies of USCCA Conceal Carry magazine\, room posters\, a cap and instructor polo plus valued at $450. \nPlease note that there is an e-learning component to this class that must be competed 48 hours BEFORE the first day of class.  Upon registration a detailed email will be sent to each Instructor Candidate.  Each Instructor Candidate must pass a shooting qualification and safe gun handling standards. The qualification is un-timed and you may use a pistol mounted optic.

Cost on that site is $160 \n\n\nWhat We’ll Teach – SABRE Sprays & Gels\n\n\n\n\nThis class will introduce you to the pepper sprays and gels offered by SABRE. You will learn what makes these devices so effective\, as well as what you need to consider when carrying them. Plus\, you will get hands-on training with SABRE practice sprays which will increase your confidence and competence in carrying them as a means of self-protection. \n\n\nAdditional Notes from Your Instructor\nEach type of pepper spray or get has a particular advantage and place or situation where you’d want to deploy it. Come learn about the differences and train with real life scenarios as well as efficient deployment of the spray. Non-Lethal self protection is a very viable choice for most situations. But\, there are still legal considerations surrounding any use of force.

DESCRIPTION:This is the Texas License to Carry in-person course. This all-day course will fulfill 3/5 things you need to obtain your License to Carry. The 5 things needed to obtain an LTC in Texas: \n1. Fill out an application with the state \n2. Fingerprinting done at Identogo. You will receive a code from the state to make an appointment after you file your application. No they cant use previous fingerprinting you’ve already done! \n3. 4-6 hours of mandated classroom education covering the state laws pertaining to firearms\, conflict avoidance\, de-escalation\, safe storage and much more! \n4. Pass a written exam with at least a 75%. \n5. Pass the shooting proficiency with a minimum score of 175/250. \nPrior shooting experience necessary\, this is not a beginning shooting course.

DESCRIPTION:NRA Certified Basic Pistol Instructor Course: this 2-day course includes BIT (Basic Instructor Training)\, lesson plans\, practical exercises\, written exam and shooting qualification to become a certified NRA Instructor. Attendance in this class is an opportunity\, not a foregone conclusion. You must possess the knowledge\, skills and attitude to pass and become certified. You will receive feedback from your class peers as well as give feedback. There is some documentation that needs to be filled out and sent in promptly after registration. This documentation is on the site where you register. Print it out\, fill it out and email to the Training Counselor. This course takes place at a private range facility. Payment info and address will be given in an email following registration here. All training materials are provided. Please bring your student Pistol Handbook to class as we will be using it. Please dress in range attire. \nThere is a prerequisite to this course of taking the student level Basic Pistol class. We have listed it just prior to this one as a convenience. If you’ve already taken this class\, you must provide proof in the form of a signed completion certificate from an NRA Instructor. You will need your firearm in 9mm-.45acp\, 100 rounds of ammunition\, eye and hearing protection and any food and snacks you need to get through the day.
