DESCRIPTION:Pepper Spray Complete\nThis is the class if you want to know everything about non-lethal pepper sprays and gels! First we will learn all about the products in class as well as legal considerations\, appropriate responses\, awareness mindset and more. Then we set the room up for the deployment portion of the class. No one will be pepper sprayed in this class! We will be using inert training canisters only. Training canisters and face shields are provided. \n\nPlease note this class is NOT free but is listed in conjunction with the class at Crosshairs Texas. You will be contacted by the instructor to complete your registration on the Crosshairs website. Cost on that site is $160 \n\n\nWhat We’ll Teach – SABRE Sprays & Gels\n\n\n\n\nThis class will introduce you to the pepper sprays and gels offered by SABRE. You will learn what makes these devices so effective\, as well as what you need to consider when carrying them. Plus\, you will get hands-on training with SABRE practice sprays which will increase your confidence and competence in carrying them as a means of self-protection. \n\n\nAdditional Notes from Your Instructor\nEach type of pepper spray or get has a particular advantage and place or situation where you’d want to deploy it. Come learn about the differences and train with real life scenarios as well as efficient deployment of the spray. Non-Lethal self protection is a very viable choice for most situations. But\, there are still legal considerations surrounding any use of force.

DESCRIPTION:This is the Texas License to Carry in-person course. This all-day course will fulfill 3/5 things you need to obtain your License to Carry. The 5 things needed to obtain an LTC in Texas: \n1. Fill out an application with the state \n2. Fingerprinting done at Identogo. You will receive a code from the state to make an appointment after you file your application. No they cant use previous fingerprinting you’ve already done! \n3. 4-6 hours of mandated classroom education covering the state laws pertaining to firearms\, conflict avoidance\, de-escalation\, safe storage and much more! \n4. Pass a written exam with at least a 75%. \n5. Pass the shooting proficiency with a minimum score of 175/250. \nPrior shooting experience necessary\, this is not a beginning shooting course.

DESCRIPTION:NRA Certified Basic Pistol Instructor Course: this 2-day course includes BIT (Basic Instructor Training)\, lesson plans\, practical exercises\, written exam and shooting qualification to become a certified NRA Instructor. Attendance in this class is an opportunity\, not a foregone conclusion. You must possess the knowledge\, skills and attitude to pass and become certified. You will receive feedback from your class peers as well as give feedback. There is some documentation that needs to be filled out and sent in promptly after registration. This documentation is on the site where you register. Print it out\, fill it out and email to the Training Counselor. This course takes place at a private range facility. Payment info and address will be given in an email following registration here. All training materials are provided. Please bring your student Pistol Handbook to class as we will be using it. Please dress in range attire. \nThere is a prerequisite to this course of taking the student level Basic Pistol class. We have listed it just prior to this one as a convenience. If you’ve already taken this class\, you must provide proof in the form of a signed completion certificate from an NRA Instructor. You will need your firearm in 9mm-.45acp\, 100 rounds of ammunition\, eye and hearing protection and any food and snacks you need to get through the day. DESCRIPTION:This is the Texas License to Carry in-person course. This all-day course will fulfill 3/5 things you need to obtain your License to Carry. The 5 things needed to obtain an LTC in Texas: \n1. Fill out an application with the state \n2. Fingerprinting done at Identogo. You will receive a code from the state to make an appointment after you file your application. No they cant use previous fingerprinting you’ve already done! \n3. 4-6 hours of mandated classroom education covering the state laws pertaining to firearms\, conflict avoidance\, de-escalation\, safe storage and much more! \n4. SUMMARY:NRA Certified Rifle Instructor Course
DESCRIPTION:NRA Certified Rifle Instructor Course: This 2-day class includes NRA Basic Instructor Training (BIT) and the Instructor portion to have the opportunity to become a certified rifle instructor with the NRA. The prerequisite to take this instructor class is the Basics of Rifle Shooting student level class (just prior to this class). Proof of having taken this class is a certificate of completion from any certified NRA instructor. Please bring your student manual from this class as we will be using it. All instructor candidates must fill out a pre-course qualification/questionnaire and email it promptly back to the Training Counselor. All Instructor level materials will be provided. \nThere is a written test and a shooting qualification which must be passed at a 90% or greater to obtain certification. In addition\, you will be receiving and giving feedback to your class peers. Please come dressed as you would to go to the range. You will need to bring: your rifle in any caliber as you will be shooting as a “student” as well as shooting the instructor rifle qualification\, 150 rounds of ammunition\, a shooting mat\, eye and hearing protection\, closed toed shoes and long pants. You will be shooting from the bench\, prone and standing. Safe gun handling\, loading and unloading of each action type must also be demonstrated to pass this course. \nPlease bring a lunch both days as there aren’t any close by eateries. There is a fridge and a microwave. Water is provided.
