DESCRIPTION:USCCA Conceal Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals Instructor Course – upon successfully completing this 2-day course\, you will become USCCA Certified Instructor\, uniquely authorized to teach the USCCA course\, Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals. This course has become the gold standard across the United States for law abiding Americans seeking to obtain their concealed carry permit. As a CCHDF Instructor you will have a comprehensive and flexible way to teach your future students. There are full-day classes\, half-day\, and one-hour mini-classes you will be able to teach\, reaching busy people with more flexible options to continue their firearms education. \nAs a USCCA certified instructor\, you will be trained and equipped to provide world-class instruction to students. You will have access to our world class classroom materials (including a full set of PowerPoint presentations and classroom videos). There are also lots of extra training presentations available such as the Real Estate Agent Safety video\, and more! \nDuring this two-day training course\, you’ll be taught by a USCCA Training Counselor on a number of valuable topics\, including: The top ten instructor mistakes\, and how to avoid them; teaching best practices; and running a safe live fire range. You’ll also have a chance to demonstrate your knowledge of the USCCA training material through seven short presentations to a group of your peers\, as well as running a live fire range\, guiding your peers through the safe completion of the USCCA course of fire. After completion of this course\, you’ll not only be intimately familiar with the USCCA training methodology and materials\, you’ll be a far better instructor and presenter\, regardless of the topic of choice. Prior to the class\, you must complete the corresponding eLearning. The e-learning component takes about 8 hours but is flexible so you can complete a session and walk away if needed and then log back in to move forward. After successfully passing the class\, you will be sent an instructor shirt and toolkit with 10 textbooks\, 10 copies of USCCA Conceal Carry magazine\, room posters\, a cap and instructor polo plus valued at $450. \nPlease note that there is an e-learning component to this class that must be competed 48 hours BEFORE the first day of class.  Upon registration a detailed email will be sent to each Instructor Candidate.  Each Instructor Candidate must pass a shooting qualification and safe gun handling standards. The qualification is un-timed and you may use a pistol mounted optic.

Come learn every game that Fayette County Gun Club has to offer! \nEach clinic only costs $50 (plus price of targets\, $8 per 25) and is limited to 20 people. Each clinic will have at least 2 certified Shotgun Instructors to help you learn the game. Don’t have a shotgun? Not to worry\, we have several loaners available in 12 and 20 gauge. Let us know that you need a loaner. \nClinic #1: Trap: You will learn how the game of trap works. We will also assist you in all the basics of your shotgun and how to learn to see the bird\, get to it and press the trigger at the right time. \nClinic #2: Skeet: Come learn about skeet. Skeet is a little more challenging with more positions around the field and challenging angles.  What you learn in the trap clinic will help you a lot in this one! \nClinic #3:5-stand: 5-stand is part of the sporting clay universe without the need for all that walking or driving around. The throwers are in an array all around you. This game builds on what you learn in trap and skeet. \nClinic #4: Sporting Clays: Going from station to station hitting different pairs and then moving on is what this game is about. There is also a fantastic social component with this game. It’s also called “golf with a shotgun”. Some of the pairs are challenging but that’s part of the fun. \nClinic #5: Country Doubles: Come learn this Texas game! This is a part of our culture since this game is only played in Texas. It’s increasingly more difficult as you move further out into the field. You get a high bird and a low bird. DESCRIPTION:This is the Texas License to Carry in-person course. This all-day course will fulfill 3/5 things you need to obtain your License to Carry. The 5 things needed to obtain an LTC in Texas: \n1. Fill out an application with the state \n2. Fingerprinting done at Identogo. You will receive a code from the state to make an appointment after you file your application. No they cant use previous fingerprinting you’ve already done! \n3. 4-6 hours of mandated classroom education covering the state laws pertaining to firearms\, conflict avoidance\, de-escalation\, safe storage and much more! \n4. Pass a written exam with at least a 75%. \n5. Pass the shooting proficiency with a minimum score of 175/250. \nPrior shooting experience necessary\, this is not a beginning shooting course.
