SUMMARY:NRA Certified Basic Pistol Instructor Course
DESCRIPTION:NRA Certified Basic Pistol Instructor Course: this 2-day course includes BIT (Basic Instructor Training)\, lesson plans\, practical exercises\, written exam and shooting qualification to become a certified NRA Instructor. Attendance in this class is an opportunity\, not a foregone conclusion. You must possess the knowledge\, skills and attitude to pass and become certified. You will receive feedback from your class peers as well as give feedback. There is some documentation that needs to be filled out and sent in promptly after registration. This documentation is on the site where you register. Print it out\, fill it out and email to the Training Counselor. This course takes place at a private range facility. Payment info and address will be given in an email following registration here. All training materials are provided. Please bring your student Pistol Handbook to class as we will be using it. Please dress in range attire. \nThere is a prerequisite to this course of taking the student level Basic Pistol class. We have listed it just prior to this one as a convenience. If you’ve already taken this class\, you must provide proof in the form of a signed completion certificate from an NRA Instructor. You will need your firearm in 9mm-.45acp\, 100 rounds of ammunition\, eye and hearing protection and any food and snacks you need to get through the day. There is a fridge and microwave and water is provided.

DESCRIPTION:This NRA Instructor Development Day is centered around the NRA pistol curricula. \n*Do you have a certification and don’t know where to begin? \n*Do you have a certification and don’t know how to use it? \n*Are you struggling getting started? \n*Would you like more confidence running the shooting line? \n*Do you need improvement in your own shooting fundamentals? \n*Do you need help coming up with class ideas to get more students in the seats? \n*Do you want to understand how to maximize your credentials? \n*Do you need a review of the NRA Instructor website and how to use it? \n*Are you struggling to find places to teach? \nIf you’ve answered any questions with yes\, this class will help you. You will leave with a plan in place\, and lots of new skills and ideas. This class is for any certified NRA Pistol Instructor (all range time will be focused on the pistol disciplines). You will be on the range half of the day working on skill development\, running the line\, and directing a number of drills. Range drills will come from CCW\, defensive pistol and a few from the RangeMaster program to spice it up for you. These drills will stretch you! \nLunch will be provided. Please bring firearm\, 350 rounds of ammunition\, eye and ear pro\, OWB belt/holster/magazine pouches. Also needed: your laptop\, notetaking materials and any materials you’ve developed for any classes\, your resume and business cards\, etc.
