Countering the Mass Shooter Threat

Countering the Mass Shooter Threat
What You’ll Learn
In this 4-hour class students explore a comprehensive analysis of data gleaned from 48 mass shootings that have occurred since Columbine. Would magazine-capacity reductions, AR-15 bans, gun-free zones, universal background checks and no-fly lists helps top or reduce mass shootings?
Learn the signs that someone may be planning a mass shooting, how to create an emergency operations plan, and what the special security considerations are for schools, churches and businesses. What is the criteria for a gun-free zone? Learn how to use the “Run, Hide, Fight” methodology. What happens when fighting back means using a firearm? Class instruction includes how to perform triage and treat the wounded.
