We are located in Bastrop County and serve Bastrop, Travis, Gonzales and Fayette counties using our private range. This 1-hour range session including the state-mandated shooting qualification and is only for students that have taken the Online Version of the LTC state-mandated classroom portion. After completion of the online portion, you print out the completion form and the range portion completion form and bring with you to the range session. It must be signed by the officiating DPS certified instructor to be valid.  There will be basic shooting instruction given based on students needs after an evaluation by the instructor.  This will be followed by the state-mandated shooting qualification.  Upon successful completion the form will be signed for you to submit to the state.  Student will have 2 opportunities to pass if needed.

To schedule your shooting qualification and range time please call Crystal at 512-576-8340.  Bring: Your semi-automatic pistol or revolver in .22-.45 caliber, 100 rounds of factory ammunition, and eye and hearing protection. Please wear range appropriate attire of long pants, closed-toed shoes and brimmed hat.

Please note that this is not a beginning shooter class. If you need to learn the shooting fundamentals and safety rules, please take one of our basic pistols courses such as NRA basic pistol or the the USCCA Conceal Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals class. You must have prior shooting experience with your chosen firearm! There is also an expectation that the LTC candidate understands and observes all firearms safety rules. Safe gun handling is a must for any responsible gun owner and LTC holder. The 1-hour range instruction is not designed for anyone just starting out.
